Q: What is Junk Removal or Junk Hauling?

Junk removal or Junk Hauling is a service that involves the pickup and removal of unwanted items. We load, haul, and dispose of your unwanted Junk & Trash for a fee. We provide Junk Removal & Hauling services for Residential, Commercial, and Industrial customers as a one time job or on a continuing basis. No job is too big or too small. We have removed as little as one couch from a house and as much as 50+ truckloads from an entire office building. We have removed junk from rooftops, attics, garages, basements, back-yards, offices, warehouses, storefronts, alleyways, parking lots, houses, condo’s, apartments, construction sites, trailer homes, storerooms, and even commercial trailers. Depending on the items being hauled and the junk removal service provider the pricing will vary. Depend on the Junk Shot Team’s Low Price Guarantee and you win! Once the items have been removed from the property they are hauled away never to be seen again. They may end up going to a recycling center, a second use store, or a disposal station. Below are some examples of where items can end up after being removed from your location. At Junk Shot, our goal is to have 70% of our items not end up in our landfills.

Q: How far in advance should I schedule my appointment?

Appointments should be scheduled as soon as possible, that way you can assure yourself of the day and time that you want. The only guaranteed arrival time is the first appointment in the morning. Any other scheduled appointments are not as exact because we don’t usually know how long the other previous jobs are going to take, however, rest assured that we work diligently to service all of our customers. Sometimes we may be able to accommodate same-day service, but don’t count on it. Remember that lack of planning on the part of the customer does not constitute an emergency on the part of the Company.

Q: Who is the Junk Shot Team? My waste hauler?

We are a full-service trash and recycling company. We handle all of the “outside–of-the-garbage-truck” services. We don’t do curbside pickup! In fact, we handle everything you don’t or can’t take to the curb! We help you finally get rid of unwanted items (including old sofas, mattresses, refrigerators, electronics, renovation materials, construction debris, yard debris, etc.) by removing them from wherever the items are located in or around your property and taking them to be properly recycled or disposed of the same day. We save you the time, money, and aggravation associated with any alternative. We are charged to dispose of the items just as you would be. Our pricing includes all labor, disposal fees, fuel, travel time, etc. Up to 80% of the items we remove are donated or recycled.

Q: Is your company headquartered in Florida?

Yes, we are proud to say that we are one of the only Professional and Leading Junk Removal Service Companies that is a Homegrown Tampa Company. Some junk hauling companies actually have Foreign Command Centers or maintain their franchise center of operations out of state. Our uncomplicated roots allow us to deliver further savings to our down-to-earth neighbors, clients and friends. We 100% support our home state of Florida and our Country’s future economic growth.

Q. What’s the difference between hauling junk myself and hiring someone else to do it?

If you have junk & trash that is too heavy and cumbersome for you to handle then we can help. If you don’t have the time, the energy or the will to rent a truck and do all the loading and unloading yourself, we can help. If you have better things to do with free time than to spend it hauling all the junk to the dump, we can help. We started this business when we hauled some old furniture to the dump a few years back this daylong endeavor required us to waste at least two hours getting a rental truck. Then, the trip to the transfer station, which required another wait in a long line of cars plus disposal fees. On top of that, the nearby transfer station is fussy about what they would take. We had to sort debris on the truck and STILL head to the dump with what was left. Not fun. We save you the time, money, and aggravation associated with any alternative!

Q: Do you use Bio-Diesel fuel for your trucks?

In our effort to reduce harmful emissions in the bay area, our UJV’s (Urban Junk Vehicle) run on BIODIESEL derived of waste vegetable oil or a mixture of BIODIESEL and petroleum (due to reliability issues on some of our trucks). We are very proud of the fact that we use biodiesel. We feel great running our vehicles on a renewable fuel that comes from a waste source. Why? Because it lowers our emissions significantly and reduces the particulate matter in our emissions. Do you really want to be breathing in dirty diesel air from our trucks when we back up into your driveway?

It depends on what it is. We strive to recycle over 80% of the items we remove (metals, wood, plastic, tires, cardboard, etc.). If items are considered salvageable, we like to take them to an appropriate charity drop-off location for donation. We do our best to recycle as much as we can. We then go to the transfer station or to the dump.

Q: Can you move my stuff to another location?

We do not have the proper vehicles or licensing to transport items for moving or relocation purposes. The truck is a “junk” truck and is dirty inside. We can only take away any items you no longer need.

Q: Why wouldn’t I just use a dumpster?

The Junk Shot Team is considerably more economical and efficient than using a dumpster. We arrive, estimate, load up your junk, and get out. Two people do the labor and clean up for you. The fee is based on volume – saving you the cost of paying for an entire dumpster (regardless of whether it’s full or not). Dumpsters look unsightly on your property and you have to do all the loading and clean up yourself. With the Junk Shot Team, you only pay for the amount of junk going in the truck. We are a true full-service junk removal and hauling solution.
